new york city & A BIG SURPRISE!

Saturday was our NYC trip and it was absolutely amazing. Keith had never been before, so for our Christmas gift my parents took us to see “Phantom of the Opera” and to Carmine’s for dinner. The day was perfect, and everything was amazing. The city is beautiful and I would love to live there one day even if it’s only for a little while. I’ve been there many times before, but this time was my favorite. When we got into Grand Central Terminal they were doing a Christmas light show. It was really beautiful to see. The play was amazing as usual, and dinner was great. Dinner was even better because of this:

Before dessert my Dad all of a sudden kept asking my Mom if she had to go to the bathroom and she kept saying no and looking at him like wtf? So, he says it again more sternly and she goes, “oh yeah I do. Chris come with me.” So I say, “I don’t have to go.” I ended up going with her anyway and we’re in the bathroom and she’s taking her sweet time. I was totally confused as to why my Mom wanted me to come with her. So, we finish up in the bathroom and we go back to the table for dessert and a little blue box is sitting on my dessert plate. I look closer and sit down and I see it’s FROM TIFFANY!! I open the box and inside is my Christmas gift from Keith. A delicate two heart necklace from Tiffany. It’s absolutely beautiful, and I grabbed him and cried. The tables next to us were smiling at us, and it was just amazing. A perfect day ended with a perfect surprise. I am so blessed and thankful for Keith. He is an amazing boyfriend and I love him.

Call me completely jealous, but I envy you. I’ve never been to NYC, and I’m only about 3 hrs away. I’d love to go sometime!! I love Phantom of the Opera. We did a unit on it in my English 12 class in HS, and I’ve been obsessed with it, since. I’d love to go see it in Broadway!

That necklace is absolutely gorgeous. LoL @ about how they tried so hard to get you “distracted”. I would of been like, “WTF” too.

As I said on LiveJournal – it looks like you had so much fun! I love New York. I haven’t been there since I was a lot younger; I can only imagine what it’s like when you’re old enough to appreciate it.

Keith is so sweet. I’m so happy for you two. I hope nothing ever breaks you guys up – I’ll be heartbroken, too! :P

Awww, how cute!! ^_______^ The necklace is beautiful, too. I got my sister her first Tiffany piece for her 30th birthday this past Halloween. The sales lady said you’ll always remember when you got your first Tiffany piece — what a wonderful memory you’ll have. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I am glad that you had a good trip. New York is one of the places that I really want to visit, and the necklace is gorgeous. My parents gave me money for my 21st and I think that I am going to buy a Tiffany bracelet with it. Their jewellery is amazing.

OH Christine! I’m so happy for you :) You totally deserve such a wonderful gift and Keith did a wonderful job finding it! I LOVE Tiffany’s and I would love it if Todd got me a charm bracelet from there, unfortunately, we don’t have one around here :( I love how they set it up. I’m surprised you didn’t catch on right away he he :)

New York City is on my top list of places to visit one day! I’m so envious of you :) I sounds like you had a great time and I’m really glad. Is “Phantom of the Opera” really that good? I need to catch up on some musicals/Broadways!

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

That just sounds like an absolutely perfect day! I am lucky enough to have a Tiffany&Co. like…20 minutes away! I hope to eventually score a necklace from there too Brian has been talking about it for a year now! lol…only lucky for me if my mom was there it would seem totally normal for her to ask me to go to the bathroom with her because she always does! Now it would be odd if my dad kept asking her if she needed to go haha!! Your necklace is beautiful! I’m glad that you had an amazing time. I bet the play was amazing as well. Keith gets major major brownie points for that smooth move right? He should be on your good list for quite sometime :-D
