Today was one of our last tests in my class (the final exam is Friday), and it was an absolute train wreck. I had half a clue as to what was being asked of me, but I tried like hell and showed all my work so hopefully he can find some partial credit somewhere in there when he’s grading me.
Keith is working every day until 5:30 until Saturday, which is making me sad because I miss seeing him every day after class. We’re working pretty well on adjusting to our new schedules which is a good thing. I have a lot of people to see within the next week or so before people go back to school and before I get bogged down with work.
I’m hoping to have lunch with my friend Jess on Friday afternoon, and Saturday Keith and I got invited to my friend Nicole’s cookout which should be nice. We’ll get to see their new house and everything. She was one of the few cool people I worked with and since she got a new job, I rarely get to see her.
Speaking of good ole’ Panera Bread, I’m on the search for a new job. The only thing that sucks is I need two days off, which have already been put in at Panera. I need the 22nd of September off for Keith’s art show, as well as the 22nd of December since we’re going to New York with my family. I don’t want to start a new job and already need 2 days off. I hate doing stuff like that. Either way, I think I might spend tomorrow collecting applications so I don’t have to worry about it over my weekend.
*SIGH*

I hope that you did well on the test.
And your comment. It’s a Filipino thing, everyone thinks it’s so great except me. When you come from another country they expect you to give a box full of stuff because Filipinos have an obsession with imported things. Even total strangers come to the house bringing they’re children begging for money. Pisses me off.

Sucks that your test didn’t go well. Sounds like you tried your hardest, that’s what counts.
Have a great time at lunch with your friend! Good luck finding a new job!

Hopefully you can just ask off for the September 22, and then the other will be so far in advance that you can ask for it off later on. I’m crossing my fingers for you about the showing work/partial credit thing. I hate math too! Good luck. And have a great weekend!

I’m sorry the last test didn’t go so well
Good luck with the final exam!!
I hope you manage to see everyone you need to before all school chaos breaks loose. Have fun at the cookout =)

I surely hope the Exam went better, then you thought. I think you have a point in “Showing your work”. You have to get some kind of credit for it.
Glad you and Keith are able to work with your schedules and everything. Good luck with the job search too. I don’t see why they couldn’t let you off. =)

Glad that you and Keith are working on your schedules and all… Also I hope that your test went OK and sorry about the other… All the best to you!

I hope that your exam went better than expected. Congrats on you and Keith working together and not against each other. Getting it straight is tough, but once you do, it’s totally worth it and you learn to appreciate your time together more.
Good luck with the job search. I’ve always typed out the days I needed off and gave it to them as soon as I got the job. It’s more polite, seeing as if you already know that you have plans. Your new boss would appreciate it.

When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Thanks!
