First of all thank you all so much for the amazing comments regarding my allergy and my weight loss. You all mean so much to me and I want you to know that. People who don’t have a blog and online friends don’t understand how important and fun it has to have those relationships with people and I just want to let you know how much I appreciated all of your comments. I feel so stupid sometimes worrying about my allergy but you all helped me realize it’s fine to do that. I love you guys so much!!
On to fun stuff! We’re gearing up for a winter storm here in CT, and we just got out of classes. My professor doesn’t know the difference between 10am and 10pm so he let us out at 10am, and now the university is closed due to the storm. I’m enjoying some home made hot chocolate. And I even put some Sugar Free Whip on top and it’s amazing right now. Even though I’m a tea head, I love hot chocolate when it’s snowing out.
I’m almost done with my Christmas shopping. I have to buy something for Keith, and his brother and sister in law which we’re going to do together. Then everyone is all done. Money has been tight due to my not working as much and my Mom helped me out with gifts for my Aunt’s/Uncle’s and Grandma which I appreciate so much.
Has anyone been following the series of shootings that have been happening? The first one was the mall shooting, then another one in Colorado where a man shot people of the church, and yet another in Vegas of two young men opening fire on students leaving a school bus. The latter is suspected to be gang related. Sometimes I think people start to get a little sketchy around the winter and the holidays. It’s so sad to pick up my newspaper and see all of these horrible things. I keep reading though. I guess it’s better to be informed than not be informed at all.
Time to enjoy my hot chocolate and my day off. Thanks again everyone, and hope everyone’s enjoying the snow (or no snow).

That sounds really cozy, coming home from school and warming up with some hot chocolate. Yum! I want to make some hot chocolate, I haven’t had any in a while.
Why does it always seem like people lose their minds around the holidays? It’s horrible about the shootings…

OMG! Awesome Christmas layout! It’s so pretty!
Yes, I have been reading about the shootings, or the ones in Colorado at least. It’s absolutely terrible, especially since one of the young women killed at the church was a twin!

congratulations on losing so much weight! it is very impressive, that’s such a hard thing to do
we were supposed to get snow down here in Philly, but we had mostly rain
yeah, it seems like there’s been a lot of shootings recently. There was one in my area who was planning an attack and was chatting online with that boy who recently shot all those students in Finland – what is wrong with people?

Mmm. I haven’t had hot chocolate in such a long time. Now I want some.

Your Christmas is so cute! I love it! I haven’t really been following the shootings, but they are just horrible!
[Reply]
YUM hot coco! do you take it with marsmellows?!
ENJOY yours! i’m going to have some tea now
what a cute new layout! the shoots are horrible, we heard a lot about them over here as well..

I’m glad for you!! I’m not sure if they’re meant to be goals, or it just happened… but I would have to go back to your last post to read and see.
Sorry to hear about the multiple shootings… hopefully at least this will be a soft and peaceful Christmas.

I’ve been drinking so much hot chocolate lately! I have a really awesome and super easy recipe. 4 teaspoons sugar, 2 teaspoons baking cocoa, pinch of salt, 1 drop vanilla extract, 1 cup water. Sometimes I add 1 tablespoon of vanilla non-dairy creamer instead of the vanilla extract. It’s the cheapest hot chocolate ever. Lol.

Yeah, reading about all these shootings that have been happening lately is a tad depressing. It’s a cold reminder that even the joys of the holiday season can’t surpress the evilness that is in this world.

Yummm hot chocolate ^_^
I hadn’t heard about that school bus shooting, thats terrible. It’s sad that these things happen at any time of the year, but especially at christmas
[Reply]
I’m all out of hot chocolate. Forgot to get some when I went to Wal-Mart.
I heard someone else talking about this snow storm. I don’t have to deal with things like that in the south…tornadoes and hurricanes.
I heard about the shootings, but haven’t been following them. The last one is new to me. It’s really sad, so close to Christmas and all.

I want snow!
I feel you on online friends. The online blog girl community is so big that it’s hard NOT to make connections. I wish it was so easy to make friends in real life!
Ten days til Christmas and I am totally broke. It’s no good! But I’ll make it.

It was 75 degrees all week here. It finally JUST got cold enough to where I can snuggle in my blankies.
I used to have a lot of online acquaintances but they seem to only lead you to more drama and trouble than you can occur offline. Now I only exclude myself to a handful of people, in which I’ve known for years.

Mmm I really want some hot chocolate now!!
I still need to go Christmas shopping!! I get paid on the 20th though, so I’ll probably just order everything I need and tell everyone its gonna be late!! lol I’m such a procrastinator.
Aww & we love you tooo!

I agree with you. Having a blog and online friends is so cool, knowing that you have people who understand you, and you can talk to. It’s a great feeling.
Just about everyone got hit by this snowstorm. It missed us down here in Delaware though. We only got sleet! Pft. Some snowstorm. Did you guys get slammed up there after all!? How much snow?
Almost done with your shopping!? I haven’t even started mine yet!!
[Reply]
Oh my, I haven’t had hot chocolate in a while. It is definitely the best in winter.
Hope the snow won’t give you too much trouble.
It’s hot here one minute then raining and humid the next. It’s annoying.

@ Christine Marie,
“I guess it’s better to be informed than not be informed at all.”
Yes, you are right and it must be. People must be informed so that they not easily manipulate, to be ignorant and aware for the current event. ^_^

@Katherine,
How are we suppose to start?
I think this is the perfect quote I’ve ever read:
“We must become the change we want to see in the world” — Gandhi
[Reply]
@Alma Myers, I think we must also consider our History and Helping each other because you can’t change without help from others like their Ideology. It just a matter of Evolution.

I love snow, I really want to see, touch and play a snow. Sad to say I can’t because we don’t have snow here in our country.
[Reply]
I also wish to play on the snow but that will happen if I go to a country that is raining snow. Not here in Philippines because if snow will happen in here, that would be bad because it’s not normal.

I consider Christmas as a special day only for Christians or Bible Believers. At the same time, I can also celebrate Christmas together with my family, friends, and neighbors without borders.
[Reply]
@ Katherine. I agree with your post. I’m looking forward for this time to come. I wanna spend some time with my family and friends.
[Reply]
I want to experience celebrating Christmas in a place where there is winter because there is no season like that in my area.
[Reply]
Nice topic. I wish there is snow in here so that i can experience on that one. Thanks for sharing.
